About the event
This quilt uses 20 fat quarters plus a background color. Just this past year we've had bright colors with a charcoal gray background, Christmas fabric with a creamy background, and Kaffe prints with a mottled background. There are no bad options!
REQUIRED PATTERN: Turning Twenty #9, Hope Chest Treasures
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS: These are shown on page 2 of the pattern booklet.
PRE-CLASS PREPARATION: You will need to come to class with the fat quarters and background fabric pre-cut. There is a chart for cutting the fat quarters on page 2 and I suggest the following changes: DO NOT CUT the horizontal 2 1/2" x 20" strip at the top of the chart. Then on the left side of the chart, cut the 2 1/2" x 15" vertical cut 16" instead of 15" long. The only other change is under the "Cutting Background" fabric - cut the first strip 16" long…
